PRIVATE BUILD PRIVACY NOTICE

This notice covers a private build of the GOAT movement application, published by Movement Marketing, LLC (doing business as GOAT). It is distributed only to a small number of named devices belonging to one household, under an individual written agreement. It is not a public product and is not available for general download.

GOAT builds movement enhancement software: structured practice using video content and wearable motion sensors. This build does one thing — it plays the selected content and records how the chosen limbs moved while it played.

The individual written agreement governs, not this page.

The household using this build has a separate signed agreement with us that sets out exactly how their data is handled. That agreement is the whole arrangement. This page restates its data terms so they are publicly readable; where anything here is less protective than the signed agreement, the signed agreement applies. Our general privacy policy, which covers customers of our public service, does not apply to this build.

What the app collects

During sessions, and only during sessions:

Motion data from the wearable sensors — orientation readings describing how the selected limbs moved.
Motion data from the phone running the session. While the phone is worn in a viewer, this is head movement rather than limb movement.
Session records — which content was played, when, for how long, and how many repetitions were marked by the person running the session.

Nothing is recorded outside of sessions. There is no background collection and no idle telemetry.

There is no audio or video recording of anyone during sessions. This build does not request microphone or camera permission at all, so it cannot record audio or capture images.

If the app is later extended to record anything beyond the list above, this notice is updated before that happens.

Who the data belongs to

The data belongs to the household. That is the arrangement, not a courtesy.

They can have all of it, at any time, for any reason, by asking.
We keep a copy with the name and identifying details removed, so that what we learn can inform how we build this for other people later. We do not overstate what removing a name achieves: a single case can be distinctive enough that it is not anonymous to someone who knows the circumstances. That is why the next point matters more.
Nothing about the user — data, name, story, images, or video — is published, presented, or shown to anyone outside the people named in the agreement, in any form, without written permission. That applies to everyone working on it, including for any write-up.
That permission can be withdrawn at any time, in writing, without giving a reason.
If they stop, they keep everything, and we delete the identified copy on request.

Where it is stored, and who can see it

Session data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access is limited to the small number of people named in the signed agreement.

What we do not do

We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with advertising or audience partners. No identifiers, hashed or otherwise, are shared with advertising platforms.
If the company is ever sold or closed, this data is not part of what transfers. It is deleted, or returned to the household, at their choice.
The app does not control any connected equipment. It records what was done; anything else in use is operated by hand by the people running the session.
The app shows no scores, grades, or evaluations. It reports only that the sensors were connected and that the session was recorded.

Stopping, and changes

The user, or either parent, can stop at any time, without notice and without giving a reason. There is no commitment and no term. A session can be ended at any point from any screen in the app.

Where the user reaches the age of majority, these decisions become theirs. From that point they can confirm the arrangement, change it, or require us to delete everything we hold, on their own, at any time.

Material changes are put in writing to the household first, and do not start until they agree.
